Art Is The Cure

Inspiring the world to see Art and the benefits of Creative Therapy with fresh eyes!

Mental health problems are one of the main causes of the overall disease burden worldwide

Global Burden of Disease Study 2010

AITC wants to change the way people view art, utilising art as a form of creative therapy and encouraging people to turn to creativity instead of negative releases.

Mental health problems affect about 1 in 10 children and young people. They include depression, anxiety and conduct disorder, and are often a direct response to what is happening in their lives.

Art Is The Cure believe that everyone has the ability to be creative and everyone has a cure at their fingertips; working with AITC our goal is to inspire people to tap into their imagination and find the strength to harness their inner artist to work through and conquer challenging experiences in life.

Major depression is thought to be the second leading cause of disability worldwide and a major contributor to the burden of suicide and ischemic heart disease.
